The Band

The Lady Lucks is an ALL FEMALE swing band based in Los Angeles who loves to play swing music from the 1920's, 30's, 40's and 50's.  We are available to play for your next private event or regular dance night.

Lindsay McMurray has been working in Los Angeles since 2003.  Her passion for music took hold at the age of 10 in a suburb of Seattle, WA when she started playing the trombone.  Due to the incredibly supported jazz community in the Seattle area, Lindsay grew a love of the genre by participating in several national level competitions, including the Essentially Ellington Jazz Festival hosted by Lincoln Center.  She currently plays in the Disneyland Band, in salsa bands and in swing bands. 

Her love of swing music and her immense respect for her fellow female musicians has inspired her to start this group.  She saw around her amazing and talented women musicians and wanted to bring them together to make happy and exciting dance music.
